Our House is Coming Together!

My Weekend...

Cody's parents came in town this weekend!  They surprised us by bringing down our new TV Stand that Cody and his dad built a few weeks ago while we were in Sherman.  They told us that it didn't fit in their car, so we thought that we were going to have to wait until my parents could come to bring it in the Suburban.  

Cody's dad even finished staining it for us so we wouldn't have to do it here!  I think it looks great. 

While they were here, Cody's mom also bought us a new rug for the living room.  We found it at Ross for $30!!  What a deal :)

And we finished off the weekend by slapping our first big extra payment on one of my student loans!  I feel good and sad that all that money is gone...
