The church that me and Cody have been going to, BridgePoint Bible Church has issued a challenge:  To read the New Testament in 40 days by listening to the Bible on CD from Faith Comes by Hearing.

They have an IPhone App - search Bible.is!!

There are also podcasts for each day available on Itunes - search "You've Got the Time"!!

And the best part about it is that it's all FREE.

The picture I posted shows the schedule of which scriptures you need to read every day in order to get through it in 40 days.  I listened to the first days reading on the way to work this morning.  28 minutes is the perfect amount of time.  I find that listening to scripture in the car is a good way to calm me down when I'm sitting in traffic...(I can get irritable sometimes sitting in traffic because I don't think it should take an hour to drive 12 miles).

Anyway, in order to grow in the Lord, we need to be in His Word.  And if you feel like you don't have the time to sit down and read every day, that is a LAME excuse.  You've got the time - every day when you are sitting in the car.  Especially if you live in Houston.
