I just had to post this really quick.
On the subject of God providing for us:
Two weeks after I bought my brand new 2012 Civic, I get rear ended. Seems like bad luck right? I was able to get the car repaired with no cost to me, PLUS, I was able to file a diminished value claim. But still, I was pretty upset whenever that happened.
A few weeks after all this happens, me and Cody find the perfect townhouse to rent (btw, Cody hasn't found a job yet and he doesn't have an established savings account yet so it's not like he can loan me money...). The rent is $1100/month. This is fine right? I have that much money in my bank account....however, I also have to pay the security deposit which is the same amount as the rent.
The bottom line is that I am out $2200 dollars which completely wipes out my checking account until the next time I get paid.
Plus, in a month I will be taking a week off work and I won't get any paid vacation since I haven't been working for 6 months yet.
The same day that I find out that rent will be $1100, I find out from State Farm that they are giving me $1100 for my claim, the SAME amount that I need to cover the security deposit.
The moral of the story? God provided me with an extra $1100 during this time in my life when money is extremely tight (I have bills, y'all...)
See, He really does answer prayers! AND, He works in mysterious ways too. He made something good (extra $) come out of something bad (getting rear ended in my BRAND NEW car)!
Mysterious ways...
