The Honda Civic Hybrid
I think that if I'm going to go with a hybrid car, this would be my first choice. I've always wanted a Honda. They supposedly don't depreciate as much as other brands of cars do when you buy them brand new. And the new 2011 Civic Hybrid has been seen to get about 40 miles per gallon in the city and about 45 miles per gallon on the highway.
The Toyota Prius Hybrid
This also may be a good option...although I have never really considered a Toyota before. This one is supposed to get 48 miles per gallon in the city and 50 miles per gallon on the highway. Either one of these two options would be way better than the gas mileage that my car (a Chevy Cavalier) gets, which is about 20 miles per gallon.
The Lexus Hybrid
And that brings us to the Lexus. All the other hybrids I've seen aren't really worth mentioning because they are either too expensive or they are not very attractive looking. At least not to me. I like a more sporty look. (my dream car is the Camero.)
The bottom line is that I want a new car. And I want to save money on gasoline. So I think that the hybrid might just be the way to go.
they should make *like* buttons for journal entries!
ReplyDeleteYou’ve definitely got a very good list of hybrid cars here, although I think the Honda Civic Hybrid is the best choice in this case because it delivers the complete package of fuel-efficiency, design, and economy. But if you are looking for a sportier look, you may want to check out the Honda FCX Clarity. That’s also a hybrid Honda.
