I survived my first week in the real world!

Quick summary of my week:

Monday - work, home, personal training, home.
Tuesday - work, home, pilates class, home again.
Wednesday - work, home, belly dancing class, home.
Thursday - work, happy hour with friends, home.
Friday - work half a day, go shopping, home, last personal training session, home for girls night with my roommate Ashley and Rachel (I drank a lot of wine...)!

Busy week!

Yesterday, I went shopping on Harwin street.  I found some belly dancing hip scarves for $4.99 a piece!  And I also found some jewelry.

I like the cute owl necklace, but I'm not really loving the bright gold change.  And I have been wanting some new earrings for a while, so I got a few pairs!

Hah, I'm currently watching the latest episode of the Office.  This week, Will Ferrell joined the cast.  Will Ferrell is so funny!  Every time I see him in something, it makes me think of the Elf.  Good movie...

Anyway, tonight I am going to College Station!  It's parent's weekend, so my parents are going to be there.  My mom brought some stuff for me that I left at home a couple weeks ago.  They also promised me some food if I go, so that pretty much made up my mind.

On a different note, this week I narrowed down the list of wedding cakes I like to three.  I can't decide on a flavor, but I definitely know I want butter cream icing.
Numero Uno

Numero Dos

Numero Tres

I really like the first one, but I don't know what flowers I would prefer to have on it.  I like the hydrangeas, but I'd like them to match my colors (eggplant and green).

*sigh*  It is such a hard decision.

I wish it was August.  I am ready to be married and have my Cody here with me again!  And finally, we can just be together for the rest of our lives.  Never having to do long distance for months at a time while one of us is finishing school, or starting a new job, or whatever else could come up in the future because we will be partners!!

  1. you should do a combination of number one and number two, i like the swirl on number two that goes off of the flower :) you can also have them do icing flowers instead of real flowers, then they can make them match your wedding colors with food dye! have fun in CS!
