Wedding Flowers

A few weeks ago, me and my mom found some really neat pitchers at Hobby Lobby on sale for 80% off!  So we bought them all up to use as centerpieces at the tables at my wedding reception.

Then, we came across a sale on flowers at JoAnn's Fabrics (50% off), so we snatched up some of them as well!  We are trying to spend the least amount of $$ as possible, so we decided to use fake flowers for the centerpieces, but for the bridal bouquet and the bridesmaids flowers, we are going to do real flowers.

My colors are eggplant (a dark purple for all of you who don't know your colors), patina (olive) green, and ivory.  I just picked those colors because I thought they were pretty, and then I heard from someone that those are the "in" colors this season, so I guess I have taste after all!  (lol)

So my mom found some lights to put down in the pitchers that use battery packs so we can turn them on and off when we get to the reception!  She finally got one put together as a sample for me to look at and here is how it turned out:

You can't tell in the picture, but the lights look like little Christmas tree lights!  We may also try to add some more greenery around the bottom to fill it out a little bit more, but this is the general idea!

We're going to have these on all of the round tables with varying green and purple table cloths at the reception which is going to take place in my church lobby here in my hometown!  I think it will look very nice once we put it all together.

I am still trying to decide what type of flowers to put in the bouquets.  I am the most indecisive person in the world, so it could take me a while...but every time I see some flowers around town or in a magazine that I like, I try to snap a picture with my phone!  Here are a few examples:
