Pork wrapped in Pork

The other day, me and Cody decided to get together with some of our good friends and cook dinner together!  Well actually, I think it was more like Cody and his friend decided to cook dinner for their girlfriends ;)

So, I suggested we find a recipe out of the Curtis Stone (TLC's Take Home Chef) cookbook that Cody has.  We decided on a recipe with pork cutlets wrapped in proscuito, aka, pork wrapped in pork.

It was served with spinach leaves which were cooked in the sauce from the pork.  Man, it was good.  We also had some asparagus wrapped in bacon which was AMAZING by the way.
Terrin with his bacon wrapped asparagus (his own recipe, I think...)

And just to prove that the boys actually were the ones cooking...

So to get the ingredients for the recipe, we went to Whole Foods in Dallas (Cody's favorite store EVER).  I always enjoy looking at two things when we go to Whole Foods:  flowers, and deserts!

Bread Bunnies!

Chocolate!  For the wedding, Cody wants to have a chocolate fountain, and after seeing this huge chocolate display, I have to agree with him, it's a great idea!

Ahh, flowers!

I love the idea of green flowers.  I don't know why that is, but I want to include some of these in my wedding bouquet!
