Moving...and Bridesmaid Dresses!

My big move to Houston is happening so fast!  I can't believe how it's just crept up on me.  I start my new job in a week!

This Tuesday, me and my mom went to Houston to look at the place where I am going to live.  For the first few months while I'm there, I'm going to room with a girl I went to school with who just bought her own condo.  When we got there, we were discussing when I would come to move in, so I pulled out my phone to check the calendar.  I ended up finding a good weekend to move in, and when I announced it, Rachel said to me "that's this weekend!"

So now I have a lot to do, and not very much time to do it in.  Today, I will be going through my clothes and deciding which ones to take with me.  I think I'll also go to the storage building and dig through some stuff to try and find some of my textbooks and class notes, and also some more of my purses (because I have missed them).  I also need to do some wedding planning while I'm still here...we are going to try and nail down the guest list and start addressing invitations, and we need to find out what is going on with the catering people.  I also need to find someone to make a wedding cake for me.

Like I said, SO much to do, SO little time.

On a different note, while I was in Houston, Rachel found her bridesmaid dress!  So now everyone has found what they're going to wear.

This is the dress my sister, Brandi picked out.

This one is the dress that Gigi, my maid of honor picked!

Rachel picked this one out.

And Staci (my other sister) and Stephanie (Cody's sister) both picked this one.

All of these are the MoriLee brand (the same as my wedding dress).  I chose the eggplant color because it looks really pretty with the ivory color of my dress.  I picked out champagne as the color for the shoes, and then after the ceremony, I'm giving all my bridesmaids a pair of Toms shoes to wear for the reception!  I think it will be really cute.
