Twilight, School, Wreck

Well, it's been a while since I have written on my blog! A lot has happened since my last post.

I started the fall semester in August down here at A&M, and so far, most of my classes are pretty boring, but there are a couple I enjoy. I'm taking a Historical Preservation class, and when he's showing pictures about case studies he's done or just pictures of places that have been preserved or restored, it's really interesting.

Other than that, I started reading some books called Twilight by Stephenie Meyer. These books are the best things that I have ever read. I LOVE them, and I've read them each about 4 or 5 times now. I'm really excited because they are coming out with a movie for the first one on November 21st! I can not wait!!

I'm also excited because the next Tomb Raider game comes out the same day and that should be pretty exciting.

Now on to the bad news....

This has not been a good couple of weeks. First a couple weekends ago, I got rear ended at a stop light and the 16 year old kid that hit me fled the scene. I later found out that the police did catch up to him and also that he was driving without his license (he only had a ID card with him). It was kinda neat though, because the cop that came over to my house to fill out the report asked me if I wanted them to arrest him for fleeing the scene. Anyway, my bumper looks like it's going to fall off now...

So then, a couple days ago, I found out that my dog got eaten for breakfast by coyotes. I am still in denial about this, and I don't think it's going to sink in that he's gone until I go home and he's not there. My mom is really upset about it and she even said that the other dog, Jojo is sad and not herself lately since Twister's been gone.

And then, maybe worse than the other two, Cody got in a wreck last night and totaled his car. His Honda Civic Hatchback is dead and never coming back. I wasn't with him when it happened, but his sister was, thankfully, Cody's parents just got here yesterday so he didn't have to deal with it by himself. I'm really sad about it, and I'm going to miss that car.
