Labor Day Weekend

Labor Day!

Well in Cody's case, Labor Day really was a labor day!  On Monday, Cody and his dad built our TV stand that I designed.  The only bad part is that it's too big to fit in my car, and we didn't feel like taking it apart to put together again when we got back to Houston.

So we have to wait until my parents decide to come down for a visit!  We still have to stain and varnish it when it gets here.

Also, on Friday, I went to change my name!  I should be getting a new license in the mail soon!

No more Marie!

Saturday morning, I woke up and went over to my house and my mom taught me some crochet tips!  I am proud to say that I am about maybe half way done with my first scarf!  I am looking forward to making some more things...I have a few ideas for Christmas presents.

Then we went back to Cody's house later on to watch the TCU/Baylor game.  Well, I didn't watch most of it because I wouldn't have known what was going on anyway, but I heard it was a good close game!  And I also know that the Aggies beat SMU on Sunday!!  Gig Em!!

All in all, a good weekend with family and friends!
