Busy Day!

Today, I actually stayed busy at work!  I was not looking for things to do once!  Fine with me because the day goes by so much faster when I'm not looking for work.  And then after work, I met a co-worker at the gym and we had a great chest, arm, and shoulder workout followed by 30 minutes on the elliptical and 10 minutes or so in the steam room.

And my workout was probably wasted because I went to Chick-Fila right afterwards and got chicken nuggets, waffle fries, AND a sprite.  Not the best post work-out option, but boy were those fries good.

Have I mentioned lately how much I love being out of school?  I love the fact that I don't have to do homework anymore, and when I leave work, I get to do whatever I want!

I found out the other day that I will be able to take bridal portraits over the 4th of July weekend!  I will be taking them at the Dallas Arboretum.  I've never been there before, but I hear that lots of people go there to get pictures made.  And then, later on that day, me and Cody are going to take some engagement photos!  I'm excited about those :)

I'm going to make an appointment to get my hair done for the bridals and I'm also going to put together a bouquet the night before to take with me as a test run.  :D  SO excited!

Thursday, I'm starting a new bible study with some girls from my church.  I'm glad that I'm finally going to get back into a study.  It's been a while...

We are going to go through the Beth Moore book called "The Patriarchs: Encountering the God of Abraham, Issac, and Jacob"  I've done Beth Moore studies before, and they are intense, but good if you can get over the 'homework' aspect of it, because it is a lot of reading and work every day.  But I think that I'll end up learning a lot from it, so that's good.

Speaking of weddings, my parents have been getting lots of RSVP's back in the mail!  And, Cody keeps thinking of people that he forgot to put on the list.

I need to send out a few more invitations.

  1. I'm glad you're staying busy. It really does help.

I'm so excited to see your bridal photos! The arboretum is absolutely beautiful - the pictures should be great! Can I have a copy of your bridal and engagement photos?
