So this weekend was parents weekend. On Friday, me and Staci had a band concert which went really well I thought. Sadly, it was my very last concert ever because I am not going to be in band anymore after this semester.
Then, on Saturday me and my dad hung out a little bit in the morning...we went to a tent sale and then to Best Buy to look around, and I bought a program for 20 bucks that lets me make DVD's out of my home videos that I can watch on the TV. It's pretty neat, I am now able to put the wedding videos together that me and Brandi filmed a couple weekends ago. Today I've been working on editing together the reception tapes. There is a lot of stuff though, so it's going to take a little while to sort through all of it and see how it's going to fit together. So then last night the whole family went up to campus and walked the dogs around. It was fun, I even made a video! At some point after I finish all this wedding stuff, I want to edit together that video and post it.
Today, we just hung around the house...my parents helped Brandi try and sort through some of her money issues, and then she left to go to Huntsville, and me and my parents went to eat at CiCi's. Then we came home, and my parents left to go back to Sherman.
In other news, I applied for another credit card today...this one doesn't charge fees to convert between euros and dollars while I'm overseas. So I hope that I get it and that the credit limit is at least 2 thousand or so. That way I can just use that while I'm in Spain and then just pay it off with my student loans or other scholarships that I get when I get home in July. The card I applied for also has zero percent APR until October!
I am starting to miss Cody! I won't get to see him again until May 7th :( But on the bright side, I will be SUPER busy until then with finals and such. Next weekend I'm going camping with ASCE! I'm hoping that will be fun.
I feel like I needed to do some homework this weekend, but I haven't done anything...maybe I'll start my dynamics homework?
