Who does this?

So, after a great day at work today (it really was pretty good, I learned a lot and got a lot of stuff done), I leave the building and walk up in the parking garage to find this:

Anybody notice the HUGE DENT?  Which was obviously caused by someone backing out of the space next to me.  I can not believe that someone would do this and then just drive away without leaving a note, telling the building security, or having the decency to wait until I got there to talk to me about it.

It's not like I was anywhere close to the line.  

I have reported this to the building security and tomorrow I plan on talking to building management to see if there is anything that can be done, because this is obviously wrong and not my fault.

Have I mentioned that I STILL haven't made the first payment on this car, and I have already been rear ended, and involved in a hit and run.

I keep asking myself this question:  Why couldn't this sort of crap have happened to my old car which was a piece of crap anyway?

I hope I find out who did this.  It's not like I have tons of extra money lying around to pay someone to fix my car, when it is not my fault that this happened.  I take care of my things.  When I get to work in the morning, I make absolutely sure that I'm in the middle of the lines and that there is more than enough room for the cars next to me to open their car doors without hitting me.  If I think that I'm even a few inches away from the center, I back up and re-park as many times as it takes me to be in the middle.

SO WHY DOES THIS HAPPEN TO ME?
