Spain

I am now in Spain! Madrid to be exact. It is a huge city! We are staying at Cat's Hostal which is near the center of the city. Yesterday I went to see Indiana Jones movie at the theatre. There was even a guy there that was dressed up like Indy...he had the hat and everything. The theatre was neat too, they have assigned seating so you don't have to worry about getting there two hours early on opening day like you do in Texas.

I also had half of a beer yesterday! It was my first beer and I could not finish it. It was neat though. And I stood on the very center of Spain. I have a picture and everything, but I forgot to bring the cord to plug my camera in to the computer so I have to wait until later to put my pictures on the computer.

Today we walked outside to go do something to find out that it is pouring rain, so we didn't get very far before I wimped out and wanted to go back to the hostel. Tonight I'm hoping we can go to a bull fight or something, I heard it's cheap, like only 4 euros! And then tomorrow we are meeting up with the rest of our group from Texas which I am kind of looking forward to at this point. Being on your own in a foriegn country is fun for a couple days but after that it gets old (for me anyway). Maybe later on in life when I'm older and married it would be more fun.
